Raw Milk Vs Pasteurized Milk

Are you wondering if there is any real difference between raw and pasteurized milk? After researching about it for my own family, I can tell you that there is a Big distinction between raw and pasteurized milk. I'm going to show you 3 ways that it is different.

Raw milk is fresh, unpasteurized, non-homogenized milk from healthy, grass-fed cows. Nothing has been added or taken from it and all those amazing nutrients and enzymes are still in there.

1. DIFFERENCE IN STRUCTURE

Pasteurized milk can also come from healthy, grass fed cows, but research shows that pasteurization destroys many of the important qualities of milk, such as good bacteria, enzymes and vitamins. Ultra-pasteurized milk is mostly what you find in a grocery store, including organic milk. It has been heated to 280 degrees Fahrenheit for a few seconds and it kills everything, including all the vitamins, minerals and nutrients that your body needs.

When milk has been homogenized, the molecules have been squeezed to remove the layer of cream. Raw milk is non-homogenized, so here is always a layer of cream that rises to the top.

2. DIFFERENCE IN BENEFITS

Today we hear of so many people with dairy allergies and being lactose intolerant. This is mostly due to pasteurization because the heat destroys many of the nutrients that make milk so beneficial. Vitamins, iron, and calcium are all greatly reduced in pasteurization, while digestive enzymes are completely destroyed.

Raw milk is a real super food providing 100% of vitamin, iron, calcium and other important nutrients for your body.

Because raw milk is rich in natural vitamins, it is easier to digest, and it can help with allergies, skin conditions, and it boosts the immune system. Studies have shown that children drinking raw milk had greater resistance to disease, better growth, and overall better health.

3. DIFFERENCE IN TASTE

Not only does pasteurization change the quality, but the taste.

Raw milk has superior flavor. It is fresh, creamy and full of flavor.

After drinking raw milk, my children refuse to drink pasteurized milk when they are away from home. Raw milk is like most other things; fresh usually always tastes better than something that has been processed.
